    Module LTHE

Competence and engagement with appropriate aspects of the UK Professional Standards Framework (UK PSF)

Pass (excellent) You demonstrated high level of competence in areas that are relevant to the module. There is evidence of deep and critical engagement with appropriate aspects of the areas of activity, core knowledge and values of the UK PSF.
    Engagement and application of literature
Pass (good) – You demonstrated critical engagement with a range of generic and/or subject specific HE literature and identified clear implications for own practice. Overall you used the Harvard Referencing consistently.

    Reflection
Pass (excellent) – There is rich evidence of deep, appropriate reflection (i.e. critical exploration and reasoning of practice in a wider context). Your work provides a clear picture of the impact of learning during the module. Your self-analysis is good. You provided a clear action plan for further development. Your plan is completely informed by the reflection.

To improve the work in the future
    • Further engagement with subject-specific pedagogic literature. This will be especially useful for the next PGCAP module.
    • More explicit reference to the relevant Dimensions of the UK PSF throughout your PGCAP work. Please remember this for the next module.
    • There are opportunities to carry out further pedagogic research in your discipline perhaps focused around more creative teaching and learning approaches in online settings

    Hi Sarah,
I am so so proud of your learning during the module. I followed your development with great interest throughout the module and there is indeed rich evidence of transformative learning in your portfolio but also from what we discussed together in our tutorials. This is wonderful! You embraced the module and saw it as an opportunity to become even more experimental and more importantly you challenged your own ideas and pre-conceptions. Using Gibb’s model seem to have helped you structure your reflections and keep focused and deepen them as well and it was great to read that you have recognised the value of reflection to enhance your practice. I can also see that you are keen to help others develop and become a champion to enable colleagues to become more effective and innovative too. Keep challenging yourself and explore, experiment and collaborate. You have become passionate about teaching and learning and I can’t stop smiling with what you have achieved! Very well done Sarah!!!
Please let me know if you wish to discuss any of the above. Thank you.

It was wonderful to learn with you on the module. All the very best for the future.

    Chrissi
